HALLOWEEN - DIY Learn Electronics Kit

by: ZippyKit

Take me home, build me, and make my eyes blink!

ZippyKit by Elena Corchero is an educational, fun and unique educational electronics kit for all ages. It integrates smart textiles and requires no previous electronics skills, or tools, no soldering or even sewing!

The best part? You get two characters in one! You can build a grumpy monster as well as a happy one! If you get bored, you can take your Loopin apart and build the other character... all while learning electronics!

** It requires 2xAA batteries NOT included in the kit

An educational textile electronics toy: This is Loppin, a fun and unique educational electronics Kit for all ages. It integrates smart textiles and requires no previous electronics skills, no soldering or sewing! Developed by Elena Corchero, former MIT Media Lab Europe researcher, expert on wearable technologies. The Loopin has been designed to bridge gender gaps in education allowing both girls and boys to approach electronics for the first time, learn about new materials, craft, textures and 3D construction. It is cute, soft and funny and also great for intergenerational exchange as an activity shared with grandparents. The kit Includes everything you need to build and reconfigure your own Loopin monster in both of its characters, happy or grumpy. The finished creature's eyes light up when its smart soft ears are touched together, or to the ears of another Loopin. That means that you have two toys in one! sparking plenty of imaginative stories while learning the circuitry over and over. Loopin provides a fun and accessible introduction to electronics, for both boys and girls, and is also a great, hands-on craft project, to be enjoyed by all the family.
